Features:-
- Self-aligning Capability: Self-alignment ball bearings tolerate angular misalignment of the shaft, due to shaft deflection or housing misalignment. The curved raceway on the outer ring allows for alignment by letting the inner ring tilt a little bit.
- High-speed Performance: Self-alignment ball bearings produce less friction since the balls roll smoothly in the inner and outer rings causing low heat generation allowing them to operate at high-speed without heating up.
- Low Maintenance: The self-alignment capability of the bearing allows for less adjustment and prevents stress and uneven loading. Also because of low heat generation the bearing temperature and wear is low resulting in longer bearing life & maintenance.
- Low Friction: In self-aligning ball bearings the balls roll smoothly between the inner and outer rings with the balls contacting the rings at only a single point lowering resistance and heat and aiding low friction operation.
- Handles Radial and Light Axial Loads: Self-aligning ball bearings are specifically made to handle radial loads primarily, though they can also manage light axial loads in both directions.
