In general, aerospace bearing applications demand high speed (up to 65000 rpm) and extreme temperatures (-54 to 300°C) requirements, manufacturing with high precision class, using high clean steel (SAE 52100, M50, M50NiL) processed through VIM/VAR route, adapting specialized heat treatment processes and NDT techniques for the soundness of the bearing. These bearings featured with an extended inner ring with puller grooves and modified outer rings with flanges, slots for anti-rotation and oil grooves to suit the typical application requirements.
